How do we do 3D scanning?

1.

Ship your part to us

You send us your part, we scan a object, be it a person, an assembly or a damaged part.

3D scanning

2.

3D scanning

After delivery of your part, we carefully measure and analyze the geometry with our 3D scanning equipment.

3D scanning

3.

We design

Our team creates an accurate 3D representation of your part using state-of-the-art 3D CAD software.

3D scanning

4.

We communicate

We take the 3D design and print prototypes to check the dimensions, then compare it with the original piece, send some images and a prototype to you.

Trusted partner
for industry leaders
and engineering

3D scanning is the right solution when you have a physical part but don’t have the technical documentation for it. We digitize the actual geometry of your part with an accuracy of ±0.05 mm and deliver a complete 3D file—ready for use in any CAD/CAM software or directly for 3D printing.

We work with parts of any complexity: from worn-out industrial components that need to be recreated, to mechanical assemblies that require reverse engineering, or objects that need to be adapted and redesigned. The files we deliver are in the standard STL, STEP, OBJ, or IGES formats—compatible with SOLIDWORKS, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, and others.

The process is simple: you send us the part, we scan it, create the 3D file, and you receive it within 24–48 hours. If you also need 3D printing after scanning, we handle everything in one place—so you don’t have to work with multiple vendors.

Answer — within 2 hours, or, for complex projects, within 24 hours

3D scanning captures the shape and geometry of a physical object and converts it into a digital 3D model. We use advanced technologies that collect millions of measurement points (point clouds), which are processed into precise 3D files. For most projects, scanning is combined with reverse engineering to deliver a production-ready CAD file (STEP/IGES).
We can scan a wide variety of objects—from small mechanical parts to larger industrial components, assemblies, and even damaged or worn parts. The process is optimized for complex geometries and fine details.
Our services offer high precision, typically within one millimeter, depending on the size and surface of the object. If you have critical tolerances, our team will recommend the best approach before starting the scan.
We deliver files in standard formats such as STL, OBJ, PLY, STEP, or IGES, depending on your needs. STEP/IGES files are available as an additional option when reverse engineering is included.
Yes, we can scan damaged or worn parts and digitally reconstruct their original geometry. This is useful for restoration, replacement parts, or design optimization—especially when the original drawings are no longer available.
Simple scans (mesh-only) are delivered within 48 hours for small, simple parts. Scanning + reverse engineering to STEP/IGES takes between 48 hours and 5 business days for more complex projects.
Yes, we convert scanned data into fully editable CAD models (STEP/IGES) using Onshape or SolidWorks. For most projects, we recommend combining scanning with reverse engineering to achieve production-ready results.
Yes, but these surfaces sometimes require a temporary matte spray to ensure accurate data capture. Send us the parts clean and dry—we’ll return them in their original condition after scanning. Internal cavities that are not in the line of sight may be impossible to scan without disassembly.
Absolutely. Scanning is a contactless process that is completely safe for fragile, valuable, or delicate items. We handle each item with care and return it to its original condition.
Yes, 3D scanning is ideal when technical drawings are not available. It captures the actual geometry directly from the object, eliminating the need for guesswork. Combined with reverse engineering, we deliver a fully editable, production-ready CAD file.
Yes, scanned data can be converted into print-ready models. Once the scan is complete and the CAD file is ready, we can print the part directly using FDM, SLA, SLS, or MJF—with express FDM delivery in 24 hours.
The cost depends on the object’s size, complexity, required precision, and deliverables. Scanning starts at 250 lei for parts with simple geometries. CAD design and reverse engineering are priced at 100 lei per hour.
