SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) is an advanced 3D printing technology that fuses nylon powder using a high-power laser—without support structures, offering complete design freedom. The resulting parts are strong, lightweight, and resistant to heat, chemicals, and wear. Ideal for functional prototypes, mechanical parts, and industrial applications where strength and precision are essential.

Our SLS 3D printing service produces parts with fine details and complex geometries, ready for use in engineering and manufacturing applications.

At Capib.ro, we use the Formlabs Fuse 1 printer with PA12 powder—for parts with high mechanical strength, excellent dimensional accuracy, and superior chemical resistance.

How it works:
  • Sintering — The laser beam melts and fuses the powder particles according to the digital model.
  • Stratification — The platform lowers, and a new, even layer of preheated powder is applied over the previous one.
  • Cooling and Cleaning — After 12–24 hours of controlled cooling, the part is removed and cleaned.
